Got a call the other day that seemed like one of those accident scams. The moment I answered yes to the automated voice, a man began speaking. He kept saying he was just double-checking info right now, but he got a bit tetchy when I asked him where he was calling from. After naming a couple of cities in India, he then said he was from Pakistan with a tone that honestly made me chuckle!

someone called me saying i could get compensation for a crash i supposedly was in, but i never had an accident! they’re just trying to trick you into giving your bank info, watch out!

I got a call from this number claiming I'd been in a car crash. When I told them I was actually speaking to the local police, they hung up right away.

They’ve been phoning non stop, ignoring the fact I blocked them and asked them to quit!

I never pick up calls when the number is hidden or not saved in my contacts. Usually, if it’s something important or real, they’ll leave a voicemail and I can call them back then. Most of those calls turn out to be spam anyway.

Even after blocking the number, it keeps ringing non-stop. They never bother to leave a voicemail, but the call stays connected for about five minutes. There's no one on the other side, just static noise the whole time.
