11 yearsI recently received a call on my mobile from a chap claiming to be from Wales, insisting that I was due a refund on PPI related to our mortgage. The baffling part is that we’ve never actually taken out PPI with them! He rattled off quite a bit of information about our mortgage, which left me a bit perturbed. Then, to top it all off, he nonsensically stated that I was owed a sum of Ugandan shillings, which is frankly absurd. So, I’d caution anyone against the number below. It’s frustrating that getting any sort of official action from the authorities or fraud teams seems rather tricky!Wales11 yearsReceived a rather alarming phone call from someone claiming to be associated with a mortgage company.
