We mentioned that we're on the Telephone Preference Service list and asked for his details so we could consider taking further action. The caller seemed quite taken aback, apologised profusely, and assured us that our name would be removed from their database. Quite the cheek, really!

I received a call from a young lady claiming to represent the Crime Awareness Centre on the 6th of August, 1910. She mentioned that someone would be in the vicinity to chat about safety concerns. However, when I called the number back, a chap answered, introducing himself as Tom, completely clueless about the Crime Awareness Centre. Quite the cunning ruse, if you ask me!

I received a call from a young woman claiming to be affiliated with the Crime Awareness Centre on the 6th of August, 2010. She mentioned that their representatives would soon be in the area to have a chat about security concerns. However, when I called the number back, a bloke answered, saying his name was ‘Tom’ and he had no clue about the Crime Awareness Centre whatsoever. It all seemed rather suspicious, if you ask me!

Just received a call about a free wireless alarm, with installation at half price. Made me question whether we even need one! It sounds a bit suspect, doesn’t it? Might just be an inept burglar trying their luck! (number visible) or perhaps a rather cunning one (number hidden).
