Got a call from a mobile around 7 in the evening, definitely wasn’t Citizen Advice! The person had terrible English and was claiming I owed money. I told them I didn’t owe anything, then they just said “Alright, bye” and cut the call really fast. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

This number has rung me a few times, first time today about 8.30 in the morning, which was quite annoying! When I asked who it was, the bloke said he was from some credit investigation team. He sounded Indian. I told him I’ve never had any credit, so he should remove me from whatever list he’s got me on. He just hung up on me. Lovely manners! I let them talk just to find out what they were after, claiming it was some government program to help with debt. Then they said since my earnings were okay, they’d just pretend my income is lower than it actually is. Yeah right, giving false info sounds totally proper for a government or any legit company lol. If this number rings you, just block it. Watch out as it could be a reverse charge call, so have a look at your phone bill to be sure.

Got a call from this guy who already knew my name and mentioned some kind of investigation. I was busy with my newborn at the time, so I just ended the call. Later, I saved the number to check if he was on WhatsApp and saw a photo of him there. I messaged asking what investigation he meant, but he just blocked me. When I told him I didn’t, he just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing back but no answer. I got in touch with Groupon right away, and they confirmed it wasn’t them and that they don’t reach out like that. They warned me not to share any info. The number’s been reported to the higher-ups to look into it.
