Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from UK BENEFITS CLAIM about a PPI refund. He said I was entitled to around £3400 and started asking me loads of questions like my DOB and home address. Then he mentioned the call was being recorded for data protection, and that this was my final chance to claim before the deadline on 29th August. Later, he asked for my bank sort code and account number. When I said no, he tried to say he didn’t need the full card number anyway. Still not convinced, I refused again and told him I was ending the call - and I did just that.
