I got a recorded call saying that Amazon Prime was gonna take money from my bank. They said to press 1 to talk to someone from Amazon and stop it. But I don’t even have an Amazon Prime subscription, so it was obvious it was a scam. The whole point is to scare you into thinking you’re being charged and get you to press 1. Then they try to get your bank info to supposedly prevent the payment, but really they’re just after your money. Be careful with these calls!
