At around 9 in the morning on 26th February, I got a call from a woman saying she was from BT. She said my IP address had switched from private to public and warned me there’d be serious problems, plus my internet would be cut off right away. She asked me to log onto my laptop so she could guide me on fixing it. When I said I wanted to check with someone else first, she got really pushy and rude. After she kept threatening, I just ended the call.
