WARNING! Just got an automated call claiming to be about my National Insurance number. The message said if I don’t act now, I could face legal problems because of some dodgy financial activity linked to my NI number. It told me to press ‘1’ for more info. Seems like a classic scam trying to grab personal info, possibly for identity fraud. Heard it’s one of those scams that popped up during the COVID lockdown alongside dodgy Royal Mail and bank calls. Be careful, it’s definitely not legit.
