I received the exact same message at 11:23 in the evening on the 12th of July, 2008.

Blimey, my partner got a call just shy of midnight while she was staying at her mum's. Can you picture the sort of pickle he'd find himself in if he approached me about it? We all have those insecurities, don't we? And let's face it, it’s not like her mum's mate is a silver fox or anything that would catch someone's eye! Honestly, it’s rather childish behaviour. What on earth is the game here?

It appears that someone you know has a bit of a crush on you! To identify who it is, simply respond with "WHO" to that message. It landed in our work mobile at 15:51. I'm curious, what do you reckon this is all about?

Received a cheeky message claiming that an acquaintance had a bit of a crush on me! I'm pleased to report we chose not to respond, but fingers crossed there's some truth in it! Did a bit of digging on this site, and lo and behold, it turns out there was a scam at play.
