Got 3 calls today, missed the first two. Picked up the last one at 12:51pm and it was a guy with a kinda Indian accent pushing some debt consolidation service. When I said I wasn’t interested in debt help, he just swore and hung up. Bit of a coincidence really, I only set up a CV-Library profile again last night after ages, had a bit of trouble with them the last time too. NOTE: Make sure your CV is set to private!

Got a call earlier today when I was at work, don’t quite recall the name he gave. He claimed to be from Citizens Advice but spoke with a really thick accent. When I asked him to say it again, the line went quiet and then some voice came on saying something about unpaid debts. I told them I didn’t owe anything and started explaining I was busy at work, then he just ended the call! Total SCAM, watch out!

Got a call while I was working, and they actually knew my full name - bit creepy if you ask me. The bloke had a strong Asian accent and claimed he got my info from the FCA about some debt I supposedly owe. I told him if I ever needed any help, I’d be the one to ask for it. Total scammer, with a heavy Asian accent. I get loads of calls like this, so now I just mess around with them for a laugh. Today, some bloke from the "Credit Investigation Bureau" called, offering to sort out my debts. When he asked how much I owed, I said around £740k. Then when he asked about my monthly payments, I said about £40k. He asked if I struggled to pay, and I told him no, I'm actually a multi millionaire! Then I told him I loved him, and he just hung up on me! Hahaha! Seriously, give it a go - it’s proper entertaining! (Already blocked the number, of course.)

Got a call from someone claiming they could sort out my debts, said they were from a credit firm! Asked for my bank details and card info to see if I qualified. I told them to get lost. How daft do they reckon we are! Sadly, these scammers do prey on vulnerable folks and rip them off big time. Make sure your mates and family watch out for calls from unknown mobiles. These con artists really need to be stopped.

When I asked for more details and said I'd check it out since I don't owe any loans, he just hung up on me straight away!

I got a call from some bloke with a thick foreign accent claiming to be from the Debt Advice Foundation. He reckoned the government told him I only needed to pay back 38% of my debt. When I asked how they got my number, he said some government department handed it over. I just dropped the call. Then the next morning, a different guy rang, from the Credit Investigations Department, same number. They’re running out of ideas, honestly.

He said something about debt, but when I pressed for more info, he just said he was calling from Manchester. He couldn't really explain what he wanted or who he worked for, so I ended the call. Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice, but that’s never how they work. They never phone you, and certainly wouldn’t use a mobile number. These scammers just keep switching numbers, but I’ve started saving all their calls as scams on my phone so I just ignore them now. Hopefully these fraudsters get caught soon!

Got a call today from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent, claiming to be from some Credit Investigation dept. I said alright, so what's this about? He started talking about credit cards, monthly payments and store cards. I told him I don't have any of those. He just said fine and hung up. Tried ringing back but the number was no good. Got a call from an Asian fella claiming to be from some credit fraud thing. His English was pretty rough, couldn’t really catch what he was saying. Mentioned something about me having to repay a credit card debt. I just put the phone down since his English was too poor for me to mess with him. I’m gonna flag this as dangerous rather than just a nuisance, looks like some sort of phishing scam or similar.

If you’ve got the time, try to keep these calls going as long as possible. They’re definitely not from the citizens advice bureau, despite what they say. Their real goal is to trick you into giving out bank info so they can raid your accounts. Got a couple of calls from them earlier, and when I said I think they've got the wrong number, all I got told was to f##k off. Proper rude!

I kept getting calls from 08710257615 all day, but nobody answered when I picked up. I tried ringing back thinking maybe it was something important, but the number said it was not valid. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. Really annoying how these companies just keep harassing - feels like such a violation of privacy!

Got a call from a bloke with an accent asking if I was the person they wanted. He said he was from Citizens Advice and that someone had told them about debt I supposedly have. When I asked if it was the Citizens Advice Bureau, he replied ‘department’ and then hung up when I questioned why the call came from a mobile. Pretty sure it was a dodgy scam trying to get my details...

Just got a call from some credit check company out of the blue from abroad. Honestly, I’m baffled how they managed to get hold of all my personal info. Put the number straight on the block!

somebody rang saying they’d assist with my debts, but after doing some kind of “credit check” they claimed there were no debts on record. then they wanted me to send proof over whatsapp, which i’m definitely not doing. not 100% sure but it seems like they might be fishing for private info to possibly clone you or something dodgy like that. i’m planning to report it to action fraud just to be safe.

I got a call from someone with an accent, sounded Indian or Pakistani, who somehow knew my name. Then out of nowhere, they started being really rude and told me to f off, calling me a pak bastard. Proper disrespectful!
