Scam alert! Got a robotic call saying my bank info and national insurance number were locked because of some fraud and apparently there’s an arrest warrant out for me. It told me to press one to talk to a "rep." Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a message from this number claiming to be Halifax, saying they’d added a new payee to my account. There was a link included. I know Halifax always mention some part of your name, address, or account digits in their texts, so I was certain this was dodgy. So, I just reported it, blocked the number and deleted the message straight away.

Got a text from this number claiming to be Halifax, saying I'd registered a new payee but weirdly it showed a sum of money instead of the payee's name. The message had a link saying "if this wasn't you" to check. Since I don't even have an account with Halifax, I figured it was dodgy and sent a report through 7726.
