I got a text warning me about some supposed HSBC fraud involving a payment to a Mr C. Jones. It asked me to click a link to check or cancel the transaction. The website link didn’t have HSBC in it, but it took me to a page that looked just like HSBC’s site where it asked for all my bank details. Since I don’t use online banking and the link didn’t include HSBC’s name, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Definitely don’t click on it!

I’ve already told HSBC about it, thought it looked like a phishing scam. They said they’ll check it out. Pretty risky stuff.
