Just got a call a little while ago from someone claiming to be from a credit investigation team. I told them they had the wrong person, but the woman with an Indian accent was really rude about it.

some bloke rang me claiming he was with bt and said that all broadband connections were getting hacked, he told me to switch my computer on and said he already had my id number and would fix the hacker problem. when i suggested he might be the hacker himself, he got quite rude and insisted he was from bt telecoms. he gave me a number 0800800150, saying it was their helpline - apparently a special number for assistance from edinburgh. ive never had a call from that number before. i just hung up straight away. do yourself a favour and dont pick up if they ring.

Saw an unknown number pop up so I tried sending a text, but it never got delivered. Pretty sure it was spam. Lesson learned: if you don’t know the number, just don’t pick up. Had a look on this site and yep, it confirmed my guess.

I got a call just a bit ago from this number and they were going on about my life insurance policy. The thing is, I don’t even have one! Even if I did, I wouldn’t be blabbing about it to some random caller. Something about it felt really dodgy, definitely a scammer trying to mess with people. Wouldn’t trust this number at all.
