Got one of those dodgy calls again, where they keep asking you to hit 1 to get more details. Total scam if you ask me.

I noticed this number popping up on a mates Facebook timeline on 22nd August 2020. Today, I got a call from 07809439857 claiming to be Amazon, thanking me for a pricey order over £300. They asked me to hit 1 if I hadn’t ordered anything and wanted to talk to someone. Instead of pressing anything, I rang the police who told me it’s a scam. Just giving everyone a heads up so no one else falls for it!

Just got a call from 07809439857 claiming to be from Amazon, telling me thanks for a £300+ order. They said if I didn’t place it, press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t do that, instead I called the police who told me it’s a scam. So heads up mates, don’t get caught out by this trick. Pass it on!
