I picked up the phone and it seemed like I was ringing a super busy call centre, but then the line just went dead.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from BT internet support, but I’m nowhere near a BT customer. Seems like a spoofed caller. Didn't give them any info like my wifi password or anything, just ended the call after keeping them hanging for a bit. Total waste of their time!

Got a call from 01294805857 with some sort of automated message said it was Amazon about a due subscription. The caller ID showed Ardorsson Scotland or something similar. Didn’t answer cause seemed dodgy but they’ve been persistent, now phoning from a different number. Bit annoying really.

Got a call from some folks claiming it was about a car crash, sounded really pushy. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was ringing from the Accident Services in the Road Traffic Department. She seemed certain there had been some sort of incident. I asked her a few times who exactly she was, but she never really gave a proper answer and just hung up on me. Made me wonder if hospitals actually share info with these kinds of people? Definitely felt like a scam.

Just had a call from someone claiming to be from the “Traffic Accident Department” - honestly, they really should come up with a less obvious name. Such a cliché scam.

They said they already knew about my accident which seemed really dodgy, I wouldn’t trust them at all. Sounded like a proper scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the traffic offence dept, claimed I’d been in a crash and mixed up the details, even said I was owed a payout. The moment I mentioned I'd ring my insurance provider, they just hung up on me.
