I was having trouble hearing properly so I handed the phone over to my daughter. She caught the bloke saying something about direct debits. She asked who he was, and he shot back with the same question. This went on about four or five times, each asking who the other was. When she said we hadn’t called him, he snapped back asking who ‘us’ was. She repeated her question again and suddenly he threatened to slap her before just hanging up. Quite a bizarre call really.
