I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT’s Security Team. She told me my internet had been hacked and was linked to illegal stuff. I told her the police were already involved, and asked for her full name, the BT branch address she was calling from, and a case number so the cops could get in touch. She gave the right BT address but wouldn't give me any other details, saying BT could only discuss this with me. Then she threatened to cut off my internet and just hung up. Classic scam, really dodgy and risky.
