Gave our mobile a ring, but there was no message left.

I received a call from this number recently, and the chap on the other end had a right Liverpool accent. He was trying to sell me Google advertising. When I inquired why I should purchase it through him instead of going directly through Google, he replied quite rudely, “Why wouldn’t you, you absolute tosser?” before abruptly hanging up. It’s evident it’s a con. I’ve had a similar encounter a few months back as well. I have no intention of offending anyone from Liverpool; I merely thought it might be helpful to share this experience in case it’s the same individual making the rounds.
