this number called me twice. they knew my name and wanted me to take part in some survey... i just refused and ended the call right away.

I'm based in NZ and this number keeps ringing me up. When I picked up the first time, all I heard was a ringing noise, then a voice just as I ended the call. The number starts with 07 80854, but the last two digits change, going up by one each time. They called at 3:14pm, 3:34pm, 7:29pm and again at 3:54pm. Properly annoying and won't give it a rest!

Looks like this is happening a lot here in New Zealand. I saw another person from NZ mention that this number rang them at like 10 in the morning and then again at 2 in the afternoon. I’m also based in NZ and got calls at around 11:30am and just after 2pm. Seems like Saturday is the day they pick to catch people at home or something! My phone shows the calls are coming from somewhere in the Central North Island, NZ.

This number, along with a bunch of others, has been calling me. When I answer, there’s just silence and then they hang up. Once, someone claimed to be from the Chinese embassy in Sydney, but I ended the call straight away!
