Definitely a scam. They pretended to be from Nationwide and told me there was some strange activity on my account. I checked on another device and saw no transactions had gone through. They said it was because they had blocked the payments. When I phoned Nationwide directly, they told me it was a fake call and no money had been sent or tried to be sent. The caller kept pushing hard, asking for details about my last payments, and sounded really persuasive.

Got a call from an unknown number but no voicemail was left, so I’m guessing it was just some annoying spam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.
