I received a phone call from someone claiming to represent the NHS, conducting a survey concerning Covid. They inquired whether my GP had arranged any vaccinations for me and sought to confirm a postcode they had. Upon telling them I hadn't been offered the jab and that the postcode provided was wrong, they insisted on obtaining my correct postcode. I firmly stated that I wasn’t comfortable sharing that information, pointing out that if my GP wanted to get in touch, they already had my details. I mentioned, "I suspect this may be a scam," and then they hung up straight away! Funny thing is, I happen to be part of the NHS and have already completed both doses! Please, folks, stay vigilant against potential scammers!

I received a rather puzzling call yesterday that hasn’t quite left my thoughts. The person on the other end seemed to know my name and my doctors’ practice. They inquired if I had health insurance and whether I’d had my flu jab. Strangely, they mentioned I should expect a letter within the next couple of days to confirm the date for my vaccination. It all felt a bit odd and has got me thinking.

First off, they messed up my name, then claimed they were calling from the NHS regarding covid. I told them I’m actually an NHS employee and have already had my jab. After that, the lady on the phone got all awkward and flustered. Sadly, the connection was really poor and we got cut off. BEWARE of these scammers! Your actual GP practice is the only one that’ll reach out about covid vaccinations, not some random scammer trying to scam you!

Got a call saying it was the NHS wanting to book me in for a Covid vaccine. At first it sounded legit, asking if I’d had any recent colds or coughs, then about the flu jab and when I got it. But then they started going on about life insurance out of the blue. I asked if it was a dodgy call and before I could say more, they just cut me off.

Got a call claiming to be from NHS track and trace, but then she started asking for my life insurance info. I was like, why on earth would the NHS need that? She went on about them covering my insurance if I caught covid 19 or something. Sounded fishy to me. Told her to take me off their list ASAP, but she refused saying it’s the NHS, so they can’t. I’ve had a few calls from someone claiming to be with the NHS. They kept asking about symptoms and stuff. I went along with it a bit, just to see where it was going, and then they started asking about my medical insurance. That’s when I realised it was a scam for sure, not a real NHS call! I didn’t give them any info, but they were really pushy when I tried to end the call nicely. They even mentioned ringing 111 for emergencies, trying to keep me on the line. To me, this call felt sketchy and unsafe - definitely a scam.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was ringing on behalf of the NHS. First thing she asked if I was showing signs of coronavirus, then suddenly started probing about whether I had medical insurance or life cover. I wasn’t having it and asked why that had anything to do with health symptoms. She mumbled something about firms not paying out on insurance or something like that. Strange phone conversation I had today! The caller seemed to know my name and address, which was a bit unsettling. Definitely sounds like a scam! They were probing about Covid, the app, my general health status, and even if I've fallen ill. They inquired about my health insurance provider and how much I pay monthly. Just like many have mentioned, this caller purporting to be from the NHS is rather suspect. When I inquired about a contact number for confirmation, they provided me with 0300 332211, but as the old tune goes, that number seems to be a figment of imagination-doesn’t exist at all! What really raises my eyebrows, though, is how they addressed me by my familiar name, not the one on my birth certificate. It has me quite unnerved about how they’ve managed to obtain that information.

I received a call from this number, and a gentleman with an Asian accent introduced himself as being from the NHS. He inquired about my thoughts on Covid-19 and my health insurance coverage. I’ve had a similar experience with a chap who pretended to be from the NHS. I informed him that I was documenting our conversation, as it was quite clear he was fabricating his identity as an NHS representative. In reality, he was peddling insurance policies and trying to fish for personal details. It’s appalling how some individuals prey on the vulnerable by instilling fear to push their dodgy products. It’s truly shameful! I sincerely wish for some form of justice, though I doubt it’ll happen, especially since it more than likely originated from a call centre in India, despite the number looking UK-based. It’s all too easy to pull off such a ruse.

Today, I received a call from this number claiming to be associated with the NHS, inquiring whether I had received my letter regarding the vaccination. When I informed them that I hadn't, they assured me they'd reach out shortly. However, the conversation quickly shifted to discussing my life insurance and the possibility of adding Covid-19 cover to my policy. Fortunately, I’m quite savvy about these situations. I urge everyone to be cautious, as this was definitely not a genuine NHS call. I’m left wondering just how far this could have escalated, or whether they are even a reputable company. One thing is for sure: they were employing dubious methods to extract personal information or soft-sell unwanted insurance products.

I'm getting the same sort of calls as others have mentioned. They’re probing for information to ‘update’ my NHS details. The only thing he really brought up was whether I’d experienced any covid symptoms. I received a rather peculiar phone call, too! A chap claimed to be representing the NHS and inquired about my vaccination status. When I mentioned I hadn’t been vaccinated yet, he casually remarked that it could be some time before my turn comes, implying I wasn’t a priority.
