Absolute scam! Got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, talking about tax and National Insurance fraud. The guy sounded like he wasn’t very confident with English, had an Asian accent, and asked for my name and part of my address to “check their records.” He then claimed there was a tax fraud case open against me! When I asked when this supposedly happened, he just hung up straight away. Feels like a trick targeting older folks who might fall for it. Definitely don’t answer or answer and then block this number!
