This is the third or possibly fourth time we’ve been contacted by these individuals in the past month. As it turns out, we work in a call centre, and these callers were insisting on their rights under the Data Protection Act, claiming they couldn’t disclose how they obtained our information. We had quite a lively discussion about it, and they ended up quite furious with us before abruptly hanging up. When we tried calling back, we were met with a rather rude response. Not long after, the same number rang us again! I’ve taken note of all the numbers that have popped up and will be looking into having them blocked. What a load of nonsense!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Mel, supposedly working for a national accident claim service. He mentioned that he believed I had been involved in an accident within the last two and a half years. Naturally, I clarified that I hadn't experienced such an incident and asked him for the source of his information. At that moment, he abruptly hung up on me! I tried calling back but was met with a voicemail message. It’s quite clear this is a scam!
