The phone rang just a couple of times then cut off without a message. I looked it up here and it seemed pretty clear it was either a scam or a cold call, so I’ve just blocked the number. Honestly, when will the government step in and deal with these fraudsters?

As soon as I picked up, they just hung up on me. So, I went ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Visa, saying there was a £900 purchase on my card I hadn’t made. She told me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. Total scam, so I blocked the number straight away.
