Got a recorded call telling me my Amazon Prime will automatically renew soon and to press 1 to chat with a manager. Tried pressing 1 just to see, but here's the thing: I don’t even have an Amazon Prime subscription, though I have purchased from Amazon before. The number was on the EE network, and it charged over 13p a minute from a landline, plus a setup fee, and up to 55p from mobiles. Seems like a total rip-off or scam, trying to get people to rack up expensive call charges. Best not to pick up or return the call, and definitely block it!
