Somebody rang saying they were from 3/O2/Virgin, trying to scare me by saying my SIM had to be upgraded or it’d be disconnected in a day. When I questioned them, they seemed to get rattled and passed me between a few different people on the line. Eventually, after I kept saying I’d ring O2’s real customer service myself, they just hung up on me. Don’t give out any personal info to calls like this, and if you do share your email, be really careful of any dodgy emails that might follow.
