Got another call from Green Deal even after I said I wasn’t interested in changing any windows during the first call. Told the bloke it was my lunch break - it was only 13.11 - but he was really rude about it. Proper annoying!

Got repeated calls from some random number today, probably selling double glazing or something. I lost count at 8 rings, some were dead silent, others asking for someone who ain’t even at this address. I told them nicely to stop calling, but they just kept pushing, trying to find out if I owned the house. I refused to answer their invasive questions since I didn’t ask for their call. Silent calls can be quite unsettling and even scary for some people. Honestly, this number needs to be blocked for good and those behind it should face legal consequences.

I had a run-in with "the green deal funding centre" from Glasgow, and after finding out they were operating illegally, I made sure their operator knew what they were up to. I also reported them to the ICO. Honestly, if more people do the same, it might help push for a bigger fine on them. Since blocking the number, it’s been relentless - between 9 this morning and now, around half past two, I’ve got 17 missed calls from them. It’s utterly frustrating, especially when it’s out of the blue cold calls. Anyone know how to put a proper stop to this?

Got a call from Jenny at Green Funding saying someone in my house wanted more info about funding. Told her it wasn’t me, and she just said maybe it was someone else, even tho I live by myself. They hadn’t rung for over two months before that, but earlier on, a bloke from the same place was really rude to me.

These lot peddle doors and windows using some "Green Deal Funding" spiel, and honestly, they're like a never-ending loop of robo marketer calls. The Telephone Preference Service is meant to crack down on pest companies like this, but it’s absolutely useless. I even gave them the company's official registered details from Companies House, and all they sent back was some canned reply about how “despite their best efforts” they couldn’t verify the info, so nothing could be done. Their idea of trying is just pathetic.

Sounds like a proper scam to me, definitely not a legit business. They’ve been ringing me loads, so I’ve blocked the number and told BT about it. I use call protect which helps block some calls, but they were ringing that much I figured I better report it to BT to sort it out. Honestly, stay well clear of them. Calling them a nuisance is being kind, they’re complete idiots.

Got a call from someone called "Jamie", sounded Scottish and was asking about window funding I supposedly asked about. I’ve been getting these kind of recorded calls before, so I knew it was dodgy. Told him I never made any enquiry. He seemed confused and said that was strange. I told him nope, not strange at all. Then he just ended the call. The number they called from was fake as well.

Got a call from some bloke with a Scottish accent saying he was from Green Deal Funding. Turns out it’s a scam since the government stopped backing that scheme ages ago. I told him the only reason I’d agreed to a call was because their robo messages claim you can press 9 to opt out, but nothing ever happens. He promised to take me off their list then got all annoyed when I told him he was breaking the law by calling me as I’m registered with the TPS.

This number has been ringing me nonstop. I’ve told them to take me off their list, but they said they can’t do that. When I tried ringing back, the line was dead. Then today, after asking them to call me back, I ended up getting six calls and every time I asked for their number they just hung up. Honestly, I think it’s time someone put an end to this.

Got a call from this number and I asked them to stop ringing me. No sooner had I said that than they called back again. I told them my number's ex-directory and to leave me alone, but the bloke got quite rude, saying it wasn’t blocked for business stuff. They called a third time just after that, but when I tried to ring back, the number was blocked. It was a Scottish guy on the line - wouldn’t mind meeting him face to face!

Got a call from a woman with a Scottish accent saying she was from Green Deal Funding. She said they provide cheaper heating options for homes, but only if you're on benefits or live with someone disabled who gets benefits too. I don't fit the criteria, but I reckon some people might find it helpful. Just be cautious though, and don't take anything on trust - get all the details in writing first.

Picked up the phone and some guy with a Scottish accent started going on about something like "Green Energy Group" or whatever he called it. I told him I didn’t know who he was and then, get this, he said something like, “If you just shut up and listen, you ignorant b****,” before just hanging up on me! I was gobsmacked. Had I been interested? No chance. But wow, never had a cold call end with someone swearing at me before!

I got a ring from someone calling themselves "Green Deal Funding" after I tried to check who was sending all those "International" automated calls about that Green Deal Funding thing. The voice sounded Scottish and there was a lot of noise like it was from a busy call centre. They wouldn't say exactly who they were, only that they'd forward my number to the real company to get in touch with me. They also promised to remove my number from their calling list.

Honestly, this is a total scam. The Green Deal and those Home Improvement Loans ended back in 2015. Don’t trust a word these callers say. Best thing to do is just cut the call straight away.

Got a call first that was completely silent, then about ten mins later another call came through from someone with a Scottish accent asking for 'Mr Homeowner'. I told them I’m not that person and they just cut the call off. Sounds like a dodgy call centre using a mobile that can’t be traced so you can’t report them to the ICO.
