Got a call from this number like three times within an hour. I never pick up calls from unknown numbers, always look them up first on here. Lucky I did, cos I’ve already blocked it now.

I got a call earlier from someone claiming to be with a government charity called the Debt Advice Foundation. When I asked for more info, they couldn’t give me any proper details. So, I hung up and rang the real Debt Advice Foundation myself. They told me loads of folks have been checking if they made those calls and said they’re aware it’s a scam, apparently coming from somewhere in Asia.

They rang me twice within a couple of hours. When I picked up the phone, the bloke started laughing and then quickly put the phone down. He was saying something about my debit and some unexpected money coming my way, but his English was so bad I couldn’t really understand what he was on about.

During work today, I kept getting calls from this number. The line was all crackly and the person on the other end claimed that my number was shared because of some debts. They told me if I gave them bank info, they could sort it out. Sounds like a total scam to me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number so I don't get any more of their nonsense.
