Got a call from someone claiming to be from the bank, saying there was a problem with my payments. When I asked for proof, the bloke started going on about my grandad stealing from them years ago and even threw in some insults. Proper nasty scammer that one.

Got a call on my home phone from a bloke with an Indian accent who actually knew my first name! He was going on about deals on flights, even saying there were private jets involved. When I told him I wasn’t keen, he wanted my address to send me some info about the discounts. I just said no cheers. Looking back, I probably should have given him Meghan Markle's name and some fake address from that Royal drama. Maybe I’ll try that if they call again...

Got a call from some Indian scammers claiming to be from National Refund Company. Turns out, this company isn’t real at all. Don’t trust them or the number 07803 980987 - it’s just a scam. I blocked the number and suggest everyone else do the same, plus report it if you get these dodgy calls.

I've answered a few times and they just cut me off. I've asked them several times to take me off their list, but they never do. I even told them that whoever gave them my info must be cheating them.

Got a call from an Indian woman telling me my PPI claim was approved and I was due £1850. Then she passed me onto an Indian bloke who said I needed to purchase a life insurance policy before they could give me the money. Totally fishy!

Got a call from a guy sounding Indian, he just said hello and then cut off straight away.

Picked up the call but they just hung up straight away, so they've been blocked now.

I got a call from someone who said his name was Simon but his English was really poor. He told me my claim was sorted and that 1830 pounds would show up in my bank within 90 days. Seemed fishy to me, probably trying to sneak my bank info out or something. Definitely suspicious.
