Got a recorded call claiming it was DHL with a package waiting. Since I haven't ordered anything, I just hung up. Definitely a scam, so I blocked the number straight away.

Got a voicemail saying it was Amazon Prime letting me know my subscription was about to renew and they'd take money from my account. Thing is, I’m not signed up for Amazon Prime at all. Seems like a total scam to me.

The moment I heard the accent and they started talking about HMRC, I just ended the call. It’s definitely a scam, so if you get calls like this, just don’t bother answering.

Somebody rang me out of the blue, claiming I was involved in HMRC fraud and under investigation or some nonsense like that. I honestly can’t believe it. It felt really like harassment or a scam to me. I didn’t bother pressing the number they told me to call back on. The phone number they used was 07803074111, and oddly, I got a similar call just ten days earlier from a different number - that one’s been reported too.

Got another ring from this number today. Some automated voice with an American accent said they were from HMRC. They claimed I’d sent back important papers unopened and warned me about legal actions starting soon. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me.
