I have a feeling this could be a fresh tactic; these marketing stunts using mobile phones (this particular one seems to be all about O2). If these folks don’t bother leaving a message on our answering machine, then they can jog on! We are in the midst of wrapping up our BT Broadband account, but I wonder if that’s just a coincidence? Could there be a link, perhaps?

I can't shake the feeling that this could be yet another tactic from those marketing firms, using mobile numbers (this one appears to be from O2). Whoever is on the other end seems to have forgotten the simple courtesy of leaving a message on our answering machine, so they can jog on as far as I'm concerned! I'm currently working on terminating our BT broadband service; now, whether that's just a coincidence or something more... well, who can say?

It seems to me that this might be a rather clever ruse, particularly with these marketing stunts that seem to be plaguing our mobile devices, this one particularly linked to O2. What's rather odd is that they never leave a message on our answering machine, which gives rise to the suspicion that they might just be trying their luck! I reckon this could be a fresh tactic employed by those marketing firms, fiddling with mobile numbers (this particular one belonged to O2, if I’m not mistaken). The caller didn’t leave a single message on our voicemail, which suggests they can kindly jog on! I’ve also begun the process of shutting down our BT broadband account-could just be a coincidence, or perhaps there's more to it than meets the eye?
