I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer being hacked. I didn’t share any details or switch my computer on. I handed the phone over to my husband, who made it clear we weren’t going to follow any of her instructions or respond to her questions. After a while, she started swearing at him repeatedly, telling him to f - off several times. Her English wasn’t great either. It’s awful that people have to deal with these kinds of scams and get treated like this.
