This number phoned me pretending to be from Microsoft, with an Indian accent on the other end. They told me my computer had been hacked, but I don’t even have one, so I figured it was a con right away. I played along just to drag the call out and then mentioned I’d be reporting them to the cops. She kept insisting they were genuine, but when I stood my ground and said I knew it was a scam and I didn’t own a computer, she got really mad, started shouting and swearing at me before hanging up.

This number rang me up pretending to be Microsoft, with an Indian accent. They went on about my computer being hacked, but I don’t even have one, so I was sure it was a con. I played along just to mess around and drain their time. I finally said I was gonna report them to the cops. The woman tried hard to convince me it was all real. When I pointed out it was a scam and I don't have a computer, she got really angry, started shouting insults at me, then just hung up.
