Somebody rang me saying they were with O2 and could give me 40% off my next bill. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Just had a call from 07802620202 claiming I'd won a 40% discount on next month’s bill. They kept saying to ignore any other calls after this and said if I go into an O2 store, they won’t be able to confirm the discount since it’s only online. Then I got 4 texts flagged as fraud alerts, saying someone phoned asking for a code and telling me to hang up as they are scammers pretending to be from O2. They warned to call O2 directly on 202 if I have any doubts. Also received a couple of codes from them which seemed suspicious.
