You might want to double-check if any email passwords have been changed as well, since they often set up a forwarding rule in your inbox without you realising.

If you’ve got this number popping up unexpectedly, double check it’s not set up in your call forwarding options. For Android, go to Settings, then Calling Accounts or Supplementary Services, and look for Call Forwarding. On an iPhone, you’ll find it under Settings, then Apps, then Phone, and finally Call Forwarding. It’s worth having a quick look just to be sure it’s not redirecting your calls without you knowing.

Im convinced Merseyside police, especially DC Mash and Thomas Hankins, along with Jane Moran, are involved in helping my child's dad and his fam kidnap her. They were both on an EU EPO kidnap order! If anyone wants proof, just email me at [email protected]. I’ll send you all the IP addresses and names. They even hit me with five fake charges, erased and messed with my records. I’ve got solid evidence of all this.

Looks like my number somehow got redirected to this one, though I honestly have no idea how that happened. I definitely didn't set it up on purpose. Then again, my memory isn’t the best these days, so who knows!

I came across some weird code on the internet that let me see if my calls were being forwarded to this number. Turns out, this number might be able to hear all the calls I make! So I typed in ##002# on my phone and it cancelled any call forwarding to that number. Honestly, if this number has contacted you, you should really check your phone to make sure they haven’t hacked in and can’t listen to your calls. They could be getting hold of all sorts of personal info from your conversations. So yeah, if this number keeps bugging you, double-check your call forwarding settings just to be safe.

Came across this number on Insta where they were advertising some *# codes for your phone to check your IMEI or stop call forwarding and stuff. Turns out it might actually be redirecting calls to this exact number. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I noticed this unfamiliar number showing up on my call forwarding list, which I definitely didn’t add. My calls are supposed to go straight to voicemail. Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

I don’t get how this number ended up on my call forward list, seems weird especially if it’s some kinda scam.

Possibly they're recording the call and collecting private information.

For some reason my phone kept blocking incoming calls and all of them were getting redirected to this number, even though I never activated call forwarding myself. After I disabled the forwarding, my phone started receiving calls like normal. I'm not sure how that forwarding got switched on in the first place. Bit puzzling really.

I just found out that every single one of my calls is being rerouted to this number and honestly, I haven't got a clue how that even happened.

I find it strange because this number actually connects to my voicemail. So, I’m wondering why there’s so many bad reviews about it. How does that add up?

That number is actually the genuine O2 voicemail line. Usually, you just see it showing up as 901, but if you’re messing about with call forwarding it shows the whole number instead. It’s a bit concerning how loads of folks are marking it as some kind of scam or dodgy call, without even bothering to spend a minute looking into it properly.

I noticed a little dot showing up at the top of my phone screen, which got me a bit worried. I came across a video on Instagram saying it might mean your phone’s being tapped or something. So, I looked it up online to figure out if there’s a way to check. I found out you can dial *#62# to see if calls are being forwarded. Did that straight away and it showed a message about call forwarding for voice calls, with a number listed.

That number belongs to O2 Voicemail, if I’m right, you normally only spot the last three numbers which are usually 901.

Mate, that’s just the O2 voicemail line, nothing dodgy going on here 💀 Don’t freak out, it’s harmless!

For anyone who's looked into their call forwarding, this number is actually just O2's voicemail line, not some kind of hack. So no worries, it’s perfectly safe.

If you’re having a look at *61# and freaking out because it says your calls are being forwarded, chill out - that’s just O2’s voicemail number. Seriously, it’s in their instructions somewhere. If you turn it off, you just won’t get your voicemails anymore. No one is sneaking into your phone, it’s nothing dodgy, lol!

I found out this number was monitoring my calls and installed some sort of app on my phone. If you wanna check if someone else is tracking your calls, try typing *#21# and press enter, it shows if your calls are being forwarded. Also, dial *#62# to see where your calls might be going. You can do this straight from your phone’s dial pad.

Give this a go: punch *#62# into your phone dial pad and it’ll tell you if anyone’s forwarding your calls somewhere else. If you want to block all that tracking nonsense, just type ##002# and hit call. Works for me every time!

When you turn on voicemail, any missed calls get forwarded to this number. It's completely safe, but don’t mistake it for the proper voicemail access. To check your messages, you gotta either ring 901 directly, or call your own mobile from a landline, press * when you hear the greeting, and then punch in your PIN. Another way is to call 07860980980, then simply enter your phone number and PIN. That’s the legit method, not just calling this number.

This number totally took over my sons phone and all his accounts, so why is it still active even after so many searches and warnings?

I just did a quick search on my phone to check if any calls were being forwarded without me knowing by dialing *#21#. Apparently, all my missed calls were being forwarded automatically. When I typed in *#62#, it showed they were going to this unexpected number. Using ##002# finally switched off the forwarding. Really felt like an invasion of privacy. Found out about this trick from some random tech post on Instagram. Lucky I gave it a go.

Loads of stuff like my calls, messages, and even data all keep redirecting to 07802091901. I’ve not had any actual call from this number so far, but it's constantly showing up on my screen when I check my phone. I honestly have no clue who it could be!

For the past two months I've been dealing with nonstop attempts from bank scammers, and today I found this number saved on my phone - no idea how it got there since I did a full factory reset on the device a few weeks ago. There's definitely something fishy happening cause the fraudsters somehow got hold of brand new cards I got less than two days ago, cards that haven't even been used anywhere or taken outside. I live by myself too, so it’s not like someone else could have caught it. Could it be some kind of glitch with Visa or a leak at the bank?

Got loads of missed calls from +447802091901, never answered any. Seems like all my calls are getting forwarded to this number. Any idea who it is? The '901' at the end makes me wonder if it's some kind of voicemail redirect since I do use voicemail. But I removed the divert twice and it just popped back again. Gave up and blocked it now. Could this be some kinda hack? Proper worried here.

For some weird reason, every call I didn’t pick up got sent to this number. I never set that up on my phone, so I’ve got no clue how it came about.

If you turn on Voicemail with O2, this number actually goes straight to their voicemail service.

Watch out, this phone number seems really risky. Looks like you could get scammed if you answer. Wouldn’t trust it for a second!

This number 07802091901 was being used to trick people by redirecting calls meant for the coop bank app, which is really risky. I've already told the police in Cumbria about it. Stay careful everyone!

This number is dodgy, it got into my phone and is acting like it’s from the 02 app.

Don’t just believe all the stuff online, this is actually the o2 voicemail, the *#61# thing is just a fake story going around. A quick google search shows the truth. People really need to check facts before spreading things around.

I think someone’s been snooping on my phone calls, maybe even checking out my voicemails! I managed to track it back somehow, but I’m staying alert just in case. Honestly, I hope they got a laugh hearing me rambling on to my mum for ages last night, totally tipsy. What a bunch of villains…

This number was set up with my call forwarding without me knowing. I’ve turned it off now and gonna keep a closer eye on my phone. It’s really worrying, like someone is eavesdropping or trying to scam you. Not good at all!

Hey, just wondering how you handled this situation?

It’s defo not the cops or anything like that, it’s a firm I know in the US, France and the UK. They’ve managed to hack into Wi-Fi here in London using some Amazon tech. Basically just rerouting stuff, but this number blocked me last night. I’ve even had death threats. These are AI companies working with the authorities, constantly setting up new hubs and routers and using Cloudflare to hide themselves... keep an eye on your routers, things are getting pretty dodgy out there!

So, my phone calls keep getting sent to this number and it’s driving me mad. I tried dialling *#62# to check the forwarding number and it showed 07802091901. Thing is, I’m with O2, not Vodafone, and O2 have no idea who that number belongs to. Someone told me to get a call blocker but the calls just keep coming through. My adopted dad, who’s 92, left me loads of voicemails even though the phone was switched on and went straight to voicemail. I’m hoping it’ll stop soon but I noticed Virgin Media appearing on my Wi-Fi even though I’m on BT. I’ve already reported it to cyber crime, thanks, but the calls still seem to be from a Vodafone network.

I was shocked when I dialled *#62# and realised all my calls were being diverted to some random number! Can’t believe this was going on without me knowing.

This definitely isn’t the police ringing, it’s some phone hackers messing about. I work in cyber fraud and have seen they check ad trackers. They spotted a Virgin Media Wi-Fi on my account but I’m nowhere near Virgin Media. It’s all with cyber fraud now, but originally the number was Vodafone, maybe it got switched over. The police actually use the new RE network starting with 234 32, so watch out.

Something odd has been going on with my phone recently. Calls keep getting rerouted to this number. Feels like some kinda hacking is happening. When I looked it up on Reveal Name, it showed the registered name as #### control’ which is really strange.

Has anyone managed to find a solution for this? I’m really curious about how it got sorted in the end.

Not really sure but feels like ive been watched, this number dont ring no bells for me. I had all call forwarding turned on - for when on a call, off the line and even when busy, dont think 02 would need that many options switched on tho.

This number somehow got into my phone and now it’s linked to all my stuff. I’m not sure how but it’s controlling my apps, made a new email, and even got into my bank accounts. I’m about to lose £5,000 and I’ve got to tell the police about this.

My phone and internet got hacked by someone I know who has been harassing me online. They even admitted it to me! But since there’s no solid proof, the cops can’t do anything. This is the number where all my calls, texts and info are being sent to.

i set my phone to divert calls when busy or no answer. i dunno who’s calling, but i use 02. honestly, just dont use call divert, switch it off and see if that helps.

Can anyone explain why all my calls seem to be going through this number linked to my IMEI? What does this even mean?

If you dial ####4636### and then call, it shows who might be eavesdropping on your phone. This number popped up on my screen, but I couldn’t get anyone to say who it actually is.
