they claimed to be from the same firm I’m already in the middle of complaining to and expecting a response from. just got back on the landline to that company asking if they can check this number and the name that was left in the voicemail on my mobile.

Each time someone leaves a voicemail on my phone, this particular number shows up as an incoming call, sometimes ringing me up to eight times! When I try to listen to the message, I’m prompted to input my PIN and hit the hash key. However, then I get a response saying that this number isn’t recognised. It keeps looping with requests for my PIN, but still no luck-just that same unhelpful message. If I happen to clear out the call history, all eight calls vanish, and then I can access the voicemail that was left for me. What on earth is going on with this?

I received a call from this number just after I completed a bank transfer. The caller asked for my PIN for my bank account.

this number keeps ringing my phone whenever i miss a call. i picked up once and it sounded like some kinda o2 voicemail message. seemed dodgy so i blocked it but now it just goes straight to my actual voicemail instead. its pretty frustrating coz i might be missing legit voicemails.

number 1226261010 / 7802000000 showed up on my uk 02 phone bill back in may 2015. it ended up costing me £25.50 plus a £16.90 cancellation fee for a call that lasted just a few mins, was totally silent. they rang my uk mobile while i was away in the philippines. definitely a scam.
