Received a text claiming to be from Royal Mail saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel ‘cos the address wasn’t complete. I’m planning to report it to Royal Mail and also the fraud squad first thing tomorrow. If you get a message like this from the same number, I’d definitely suggest you do the same!

I got a message from +447801131435 saying I needed to update my address for a parcel delivery. They claimed to be Royal Mail. Honestly, I’d be careful, as no legit delivery company asks for your phone via text like that. Feels like some kind of scam to me! Hope no one falls for it.

Somebody just tried to scam me by pretending to be from Royal Mail through a text message. Definitely one of those phishing attempts. Be careful if you get a similar message!
