Got a random text with a photo saying "join my WhatsApp group," then right after that, another message popped up. I just blocked the number straight away.

This seems to be a fresh EE phone number. My wife got a really odd voicemail from some AI and when she called back, the same weird AI voice answered with some strange music playing softly in the background. From what we can tell, it looks like scammers have taken over a newly issued mobile number.
