Usually, this is just a reminder from my dentist, 'mydentist', about an upcoming appointment. Problem is, my answerphone only picks up the bit where they say 'press 1 to confirm' and their system is rubbish - it doesn’t bother to leave the rest or resend the message if no one's pressing anything.

Got a half message on my answerphone this morning, pretty much the same as above. I usually don’t bother replying to these. I have a dentist appointment next week at My Dentist and they used to ring me from reception to remind me. Hope this rubbish isn’t some replacement for that. Got a call from 061017 at 09:44. I let it ring and didn’t answer. Checked 1471 and it showed 07800005907. Rang back but the line just went dead. Left a message at 09:45, didn’t catch the start but they mentioned an “appointment.” At first I thought it was my dentist reminding me about an appointment on 9th October. Just like everyone else has said, I got a weird, jumbled message left on my answerphone about changing an appointment. It said to call my dentist but when I did, they had no clue about it. Like a few others here, I've got an appointment with My Dentist lined up for next week as well! Honestly, it’s pretty shocking and doesn't reflect well on them at all. I’m definitely bringing it up when I visit on Wednesday! I’m not going to just let them say there's 'nothing to be done' about it. This is something that really needs sorting out for the future!

This happened to me too, like lots of others here. I got a strange, unclear voicemail about some kind of appointment, mentioning something about "getting in touch with our reception team to reschedule." I do have a dentist appointment soon at a place that’s part of the "My Dentist" chain, so I guess this weird incomplete message was just some automated call connected to that. Quite frustrating, if you ask me!
