Got a call from an automated voice claiming to be from VISA Mastercard. They said I had two pending international transactions, one for £700 and another for £900. Then they told me to press 1 if I wanted to know more. It sounded dodgy, so I just hung up. I looked up the number here and couldn’t find any reports, so it seems like it’s a fresh scam number. I also contacted my bank’s fraud department, told them about the call, and they confirmed there aren’t any charges waiting on my account.
