Got a call from someone saying they were with Visa or MasterCard, telling me there was a £600 charge abroad on my card just a quarter of an hour earlier. They told me to press 1 if it was me. They claimed to be from my bank, but the call came from a mobile number, and they didn’t even know if I had Visa or MasterCard. Plus, it was one of those robotic recorded messages. Seemed really off to me, so I just ended the call instantly. Didn’t trust it at all.
