Got a call today, 23rd October 2023, with some menu asking me to pick a language. Didn’t bother sticking around, I just ended it straight away. Feels like one of those scammy calls for sure!

It’s just a robot call, best thing I did was block it straight away and ignore the message.

I got an automated call warning that my phone would be disconnected unless I pressed a certain number for details, one option was English and another was Chinese, but I can’t recall which numbers to press. It felt sketchy to me, maybe a trick to get me to call a premium rate line, so I just ended the call. It happened around 4:10pm and nearly an hour later my phone still works fine. Honestly, I reckon it’s safer to just hang up on these kinds of messages. If it’s legit, they’ll probably ring back again.
