I just got a text claiming I’m eligible for a refund on my tax disc - turns out it’s a total scam. I rang up the DVLA myself and they confirmed they never send texts asking for your bank info or other personal details. Lately, I’ve also been getting odd calls about my car being involved in some accident, which is completely false. This all started after I’d been checking out a few car websites, thinking about getting a new vehicle. Maybe someone’s trying to link these things? Feels a bit suspicious!
