We were approached by someone trying to coerce us into paying for advertising we had absolutely no interest in. After some back-and-forth, we cleverly obtained her number by feigning interest in the offer, but made it clear that we would only proceed once we confirmed her identity. Eventually, she disclosed her real number to us. She claimed to be working in credit control for a consortium of newspapers based in the West Midlands.

This chap Basra could really do with a lesson in politeness. He keeps asserting that he’s employed by something called West Midlands Weekly, but honestly, we’ve never come across that publication before! The whole encounter was rather bizarre, to say the least!
