Got a robocall the other day from someone saying they were from HMRC, telling me to pay up. Sounds like the usual HMRC scam going around. According to the official HMRC website, they're aware of this sort of fake call where they say you have a lawsuit against you and that pressing 1 will connect you to a caseworker to sort payment. They say it's a scam and the best thing is to just hang up straight away.
