Got a voicemail supposedly from my bank’s security team saying there were two purchases on my account today - one £199 on Amazon, and another for £899. The message asked me to press 1 if I approved or 2 to talk to security. The call came from a mobile number and didn’t say which bank it was. I didn’t trust it for a second. It all felt shady and like a scam aimed at stealing bank details. Best to hang up straight away and report it. Never follow those kinds of instructions without double checking!
