We recently received a text message from this number, which prompted my father to take action. It read something along the lines of, "Our records suggest you might be eligible for £3,750 due to your recent accident. To claim your funds at no cost, simply reply 'Yes.' To cancel, text 'stop.'" Quite unsettling, really, given that it landed on our phones just a fortnight after my father and I were involved in an accident. What's even more peculiar is that my father and I are on different mobile providers and reside at different addresses. When we tried to call back, we were greeted by a recorded message from Vodafone.
