This bloke said his name was Barry and claimed he had to run through some security checks. He already knew my name and address, but then he asked where I was born and for some letters from my mum’s maiden name! Next thing he wanted my bank info, saying there was a credit from an old account from 2010 that he could send me. I told him if that’s the case and he knows where I live, to just send a cheque instead. He said cheques might take around 8-10 working days to arrive. After that, he just hung up on me. Seemed a bit fishy to me!
