Some bloke with an Asian accent keeps calling me, claiming he’s from citizens advice. Total nutcase and clearly a scam. Keeps saying I’ve got unsecured debts. No idea why he rings me all the time. I reckon I’ll just give him a bit of a mouthful next time.

Got a call from an asian lady about some debt or something, not totally sure what she was on about since I could barely make her out. When I asked her to take my number off their list, she just told me to "f##k off" and then just ended the call. Lovely.

Got a call from an Indian guy claiming I had some unpaid debt to sort out. The weird part was he knew my name and even my old address, which freaked me out a bit. When I asked which company he was talking about, he suddenly got rude and just cut the call.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Citizen Advice Bureau. They said I owed money to some loan and credit card firms - which is totally not true!! I asked them who exactly the debt was with, not once but twice. They wouldn’t tell me and then just called me a b#tch before hanging up on me!!

Some bloke called saying he was from a credit investigation dept and had an urgent issue to sort with me! When I asked what firm he was from (worried it might be my bank) he just said FFS and then ended the call.

This bloke just rang me up, claiming I owed money and was meant to be paying it back. When I told him I had no debts at all, not even an overdraft, he started calling me a liar and said I was being rude. Truth is, he was the one being rude and dishonest! I ended the call but it’s left me feeling really annoyed and worried for others, especially older people who might not realise what this dodgy bunch and their shady workers are up to just to squeeze some cash out of folks. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Lol it was the same here, he kept calling me Mr Roberts which ain’t even my name but I just went with it. You can tell straight away it takes a bit longer to pick up ‘cos they’re not based here, heard that from Citizens Advice. And of course they ring from a mobile, classic! Proper d#cks if you ask me. I played along to waste their time then once I’d had enough I hung up and blocked the number. Too funny.

Got a call from some guy earlier claiming to be from the "credit investigation dept." When I asked what company he was with, all he said was it was a "government agency." He said he had my file and knew I got unsecured loans, something about having to reach out if they're more than £5k. When I told him I wasn’t gonna share any info, he got all pushy and I just ended the call - definitely sounds like a scam.

Got a call from someone using this number, saying the usual stuff like everyone else. He knew my first name and mentioned something about the CAB. You could tell he was out and about cause there was loads of noise in the background. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

This number rang me up. The bloke sounded cheerful. He claimed to be from some credit place and said I owed more than 5000. I asked, "What debt? For what?" Then he asked me, "You don’t owe anything?" I told him not that I knew of. He didn’t explain or give me any details about it. He just said alright and quickly ended the call.

This bloke with a Middle Eastern accent rang me up, claiming his firm could prevent the government from chasing credit debts. I humoured him, mentioned I was recording, then pretended to be from the police fraud unit by altering my voice. He replied with, "Sod off, witch." I threw the 'c' word back at him and we ended the call. It's worrying how these lot might scam some elderly, vulnerable folks. Bet he's switched his number by now. Said he was from Manchester.

this bloke rang me about some debts of mine which ive now sorted after setting up a payment plan. when i told him to remove my number from their list, he flat out refused. i warned him if he tried ringing me again id be contacting the cops. after that he got really nasty and stopped answering me, so i ended the call.
