Got three calls within just a couple of hours. Each time, it was an automated voice, definitely a bloke but sounded computer generated. No name mentioned or anything personal, just a generic chilling message. Said it was from HMRC and claimed there’s some file plus an arrest warrant against me, though it never actually said why or what for! Then at the end it tells whoever is listening to hit “1” to talk to a case officer. I bet if I had pressed, they’d try to get me to pay some money into a dodgy bank account to drop the warrant. Totally obvious scam.
